almost august

Well its been a while again, like normal I have been really busy, seems to be the story of my life. For working as much as I do I feel I have little to nothing to show for it. These next few years Nikki and I got to save like mad men. The house will be the biggest thing, and I want a big down payment. I am sure we can afford everything, but money will be tight. Then the whole wedding, I think I have came to terms that we are not going to get much help with the wedding, but I think whatever money we spend we will make back plus some...

Anyways, the school thing is kinda settled, for now atleast. I am re-taking a class in the fall, I have to get an A-, but there are plenty opportuinies for points. The issue I have is, I will not be in class with all my friends in the fall. I will rejoin them in the spring, and have a different schedule my senior year. I will walk in the summer of 2009, then have summer classes.... The whole thing is I still need to get an A-, so I am only taking 3 classes. Intro to internet communications (lol), stats (again... I need a C), then this Nur 201 with Alverson..... Plan B will have more structure after Tuesday, I am taking a break from work and taking a TEASE tests http://www.atitesting.com/ for Ivy Tech. I need to pass everything, then they place people and call them. Trouble is this is only a associates degree, while VU is a bachleor's degree. It will take about 2 years to complete both. Unless I can talk to Ivy Tech, and speed mine up, since I do have alot of nursing classes. Plan C is paragod class. I still haven't turned in anything, and will not until I absolutely decide. Like Q stated in his blog, you cannot work while in the medic class, so it will cause major problems for the house, and wedding.

Softball tournments start this week for both CP and LOFS.

The bullshit at the FD may start soon too, I am not looking forward to that crap.

Long time no type

Well a lot has happened since my last post:

Most importantly I proposed to Nikki. It was on the 4th in the CP (big city) parade. I hopped of 3511 and just did it. Fuck, it may have been one of the times I have been really nervous. All I can say it went perfect, she had no idea, and I told the world it seems. One last thing on the whole proposal, I am glad I kept my sun-glasses on, cause I did tear up a little, she was soooo cute crying, and shaking, it was slighty romantic. So we (Nikki and I) started looking at houses, we are not at the point of buying yet, but we both found a house we love in LOFS.... the trouble is I am still in school(more on school later), and she wants a new, better paying job. The we will have a wedding comming up sometime in 2 years. Its all so frusterating. We can get the house, but I do not want to be in debt for the rest of our lives, I want to start the marraige off in the green not the red. Playing catch up is never fun.

The wedding, well I already shot down next year. Its not too soon, but then again it is. We will not have the $$$$ to do it, or do it right. We have almost 200 people just family and close family friends, then we haven't even made a friends list, which will bring us close to 350 total, so you'd expect 300 people to show... So we are thinking summer of 2009. We will set a date sometime this week, hopefully. Then we need to look into everything else.... hall, church, cake, dress, tux, dj, limo, flowers, gifts, etc. I am ball parking this arround 20,000. Which sucks..... we will not get much help from the rents, not a big deal, but fuck.

Nikki and I need to work out the wedding party now too, its gonna be a big party, like 6 maybe 7 per side plus ushers, flower girls, marton(sp) of honor etc. So I am thinking two party buses, one for the penis's one for the vag's. :-)

Went to Indy for Nikki's sister's wedding, I lasted about 2.5478 hours, then had to be brought back to the hotel. It doesn't help when you pre-drink, then drink during pictures, then the cermony... I ate dinner then left... then puked the 10 maragrtias, 1 tequlia sunsrise, 2 miller lights, 1 higball of jager, then a jack and coke... Plus whatever I through in my mouth to float on top of all that shit...

Working this much sucks, I hate it. For what I do at the ICU I am extremely under-paid, but once again we need the money, so I am gonna stick with it...

School is still there. I am in a class now, I have to do well, or I am done with VU nursing... It's so difficult. I do great in the nursing classes, but fuck up the math classes, and chem I took so it lowered my "nursing gpa". What needs to happen is me get an A- atleast in this course to stay there. If I do not, then I will be fucked I guess. I need to do something... I am gonna check on transfering (even though I do not want to) but it will be much easier elsewhere, plus we (me) would save so much more $. But I really do like VU. I also thought about the paramedic class, but if I get anymore on my plate I may have a break down... I want paramedic to be a back up, plus a lot of friends are taking the class, I would love to show them up. ;-) I am also gonna look into Saint Anthony's nursing college thing, maybe I can get in there and speed things up, the sooner I graduate the more money Nikki and I will have, the sooner we can get a house and then have the party of the year.

Softball is comming to an end. Keep your fingers crossed, no injuries for me!!! The CP league is almost to tournment time, and I may miss it, but its okay. We have the most talented dysfunctional team of assholes ever put in one place. On the ego scale we get a Paris Hiltion + Fabio. I want to tell Q thanks for letting me play with the best bunch of assholes I know. We need to win, for our talent we look like the SCRUBS. The season's league is 4 weeks out to the end, but we also have a good team, we only show up in spurts, I can have a good week, or few innings while someone else strikes out 3 times...
